LIVING FREE'S STATEMENT OF BELIEFS
"Our beliefs are not negotiable as they are derived from God’s revelation as given to us through the scriptures. However, it is important for us to also communicate that all of God’s truth is cased in love, grace, and mercy and we too are committed to demonstrating these qualities in how we live out these beliefs and in how we communicate them to others who God entrusts to our care.”
Living Free Ministries affirms the following beliefs:
We believe there is one God, creator of the heavens and earth, who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19)
We believe God came to earth in the person Jesus Christ. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, death, resurrection, that Christ is in heaven with God, and will return to earth in power and glory.
(John 1:14, Acts 7:55-56, Revelation 1:5-8)
We believe the Holy Spirit works on the earth in the hearts of believers, helping us to live according to God’s Word. We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit is an endowment of power available to every Christian through the laying on of hands so spiritual gifts may be manifest.

We believe the Bible is the inspired and true Word of God and is sufficient and authoritative in all matters of life and faith. The Bible is the sole and final source of all we believe as interpreted and applied by the Board of Directors.

We believe people are, by human nature, sinful and in need of God’s salvation.
(John 3:3, Romans 3:23)
We believe salvation only comes by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe God created every person in His image as male or female. These are two distinct, complementary genders and rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person. We believe marriage is an institution created by God as a covenant relationship established by mutual vows exchanged exclusively between one man and one woman. We believe God intends for sexual intimacy to only occur between a man and a woman who are married to each other.

We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life.
(Psalm 139).
This statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, the infallible, written Word of God, is the sole basis and final source of all we believe. For purposes of Living Free’s faith, practice, policy, and discipline, our board of directors is the final interpretive authority on the meaning and application of the Statement of Faith for Living Free Ministries.
